. Layout, animation, Buddah model + texture.
Early test rehersal. All assets were "off the shelf" except for the Buddah. I modified this building to have the Starburns logo.
I did a quick animated segment for Great Minds with Dan Harmon. I'm super proud to have been part of such a great little piece of TV. I felt this episode was especially well written! Another tight schedule. The hardest part was not knowing what I was supposed to do for the first few days other than the loose direction, "Buddah gets chased by whores in GTA". Luckily HarmonTown / Meltdown comics is in my neighborhood and I was able to go down and get clarification from Dan after a show. I made the Buddah and rigged him, set everything up and comped it together. The other characters and assets were store bought or generated.
I also modeled, textured, rigged and animated Glip Glop from an episode of Community season 6. I had 7 days to figure out how to rig an animate. After modeling and texturing I spent three days with a Maya book in my lap figuring out how to rig and animate! Luckily the directive said that the character was sort of like "The General" from the car insurance commercials so the bar was pretty low.
